after getting my second jury summons in just as many years, i'm left to believe that the pool of eligible jurors in the district of columbia must look something like this -
one might think it's a bad thing to get a summons, but i'm SO EXCITED! i LOVED being on jury duty. two years ago i was picked for the grand jury - 6 weeks of service (5 days a week, 8 hours a day). it was like i was transported into law and order, but only better (we had favorite witnesses and prosecutors and even had jury t-shirts!). this summons is only for the one day/one trial. i plan to charm the judge and get myself seated on the trial of the century.
