snow is weather. "hey there's a lot of snow on the ground and it's blowing around" is an observation and not worthy of continuous coverage. although, there doesn't really seem to be anything else happening because there is a lot of snow on the ground and it's blowing around.

i had to listen to my mom say "YOU DON'T HAVE WORK AGAIN! what is going on down there?!" for about the 100th time.

i tried the chinese restaurant on the corner for the first time (the one my neighbor described as "the ghetto version of the olive garden") and the last time.
